Hello my name is Errol, and I’m a 8 week old kitten, that lives in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. Kerry one of my human owners has set up a blog to detail my journey from being a naughty, cute little kitten, to becoming a fully grown cat. Kerry is also typing this up for me, as I’m a cat and cats don’t type. Or they are not suppose to.

So far I have lived with my new owners for about four days, they give me food, milk, and plenty of toys and attention. I live with four adult cats, their names are Cain, Dopey, Calico and Ivan. Dopey doesn’t like me much, but my human owners say she doesn’t like other cats. I want to be friends with Cain, but everytime I go near him he jumps, and walks away. Calico and Ivan just keep their distance away from me for some reason.

At night my owners but me to bed in a cage overnight or when they go out, they say its for my own protection while they are not around. I don’t cry though, because they make sure I have my basket, litter tray, food, and water with me in the cage. The humans are very careful when picking me up, because I have just had an operation to remove part of my tail, as my last owner threw a can of food at me.

My favourite toys are my toy rat, a toy mouse that moves, a bit of loo roll that Kerry gave me and a bit of rolled up paper that Kerry’s Dad made for me. I like to bite Kerry’s fingers, hands and shoes. I also like to cuddle up with Kerry after I have done all that to her hands. When Kerry’s Dad picks me up, I like to give him kisses and then cuddle up with him.

I got my name Errol from the family, although Kerry’s brother Paul thinks its a bad name for me. I don’t know whats wrong with it, because Kerry and Kerry’s Mum says its because I’m dashing and handsome.

Anyway I’ve got to sign off for now. Next time Kerry has promised to post some pics of me, so the world can see me.
